The Osceola County Extension Service provides research based information to agricultural producers. Cattle, sod and citrus are the major agricultural commodities produced in Osceola County. The county ranks number one in Florida beef cattle production, has over 9,000 acres in citrus and several thousand acres in commercial sod. The agricultural arm of Osceola Extension works to maximize production thus generating a positive economic outcome.
