Family and Consumer Sciences:
Improving Food Safety and Quality

Food safety is an important issue in our lives. While the US has one of the best systems in the world, our food supply is not completely immune from foodborne outbreaks and illnesses. The Extension office is committed to educating the public on such issues by providing research-based information that promotes awareness, prevention, and maintenance of proper practices.
