Greenways and Trails and Eco-Tourism in Osceola County
Osceola County, jointly with Kissimmee, St. Cloud and Osceola School District and citizen input developed a Master Plan for Parks and Recreation. This document is being used to determine future needs and funding for a more coordinated effort county-wide. One of the needs identified was bike paths and trails. A committee of staff and concerned citizens has formed to continue the process of developing a county-wide network of bike paths, recreational trails and greenways (natural areas) to connect our communities, schools, parks, and public lands. Progress reports, committee members and meeting dates are listed. Osceola County's natural, cultural and historic resources are treasures to enjoy and protect. Many businesses, agencies and organizations are working together to help you learn where to go, what to do, and who does what.
